Enjoy with your tea as an afternoon snack or impress your family & friends with these creamy, healthy bites. Recipe from The Golden Milk Cookbook, featuring our best-selling Golden Milk Blend.
PREP TIME: 10 minutes
BAKE TIME: 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS FOR THE BITES:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp. Golden Milk blend
FOR THE CHOCOLATE SYRUP:
- Melt your favorite dark chocolate bar
Or, to make your own, use:
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 3 tbsp. cocoa powder
- 2-3 tbsp. maple syrup
Place all of the ingredients for the bites in a food processor and process until well combined.
You can either shape the bites as balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, or use a baking mold for a cute shape. Place the baking sheet or the molds in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
In the meantime, melt the chocolate syrup ingredients on low-medium heat. Set aside.
If using molds, remove the bites and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a small cup or a spoon to drizzle the chocolate syrup over the top of each bite. You can also dip them in the syrup if you want an extra layer of chocolate. Place the baking sheet back in the freezer until chocolate is hardened, for about 30 more minutes. Enjoy.
Store in the freezer or the fridge (they will soften if in the fridge).
